My name is Daniel Silverman and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Rome, NY.
With over 20 years experience as a Clinical Social Worker, and as a graduate of Syracuse University's Graduate School of Social Work specializing in Family Mental Health, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are: Anxiety, Depression, Marital/Relationship issues, Parenting, Grief, Stress and Anger Management, Post- Retirement Planning, Trauma, Probation and Parole and Change of Life.
I am a very interactive, solution-focused and strength-based therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
